Well, what an anointed presence of God we had on Sunday night and the message of Pastor Dion was straight from the Father's heart to RFC. We need to remind ourselves of the Heavenly Vision that was given for setting up RFC in the capital City and what our position and gifting ordained of God is so that we can all work in Unity and Love and fulfil that.
Monday and Wednesday nights were both powerful times as Pastor Kevin was led to continue from what was preached on Sunday. "Blessed are the pure in Heart for they shall see God." [Mat.5:8]. Having a pure heart makes our Christian walk intensely REAL and our LOVE for Jesus un-conditional and always totally genuine towards all people. Read [Psalm 24:3-5], its only a pure heart that has the Power to conquer SIN and enables us to seek after all that is TRUE, RIGHTEOUS, BEAUTIFUL and receive all that we need to change our World. This is not the time to be operating out-side of God's will for our life. Our heavenly Father wants us to have a PURE HOLY HEART and not a divided one, [Mat 5:27-28] & [Mk 7:20-23]. Today the TV and media glorifies violence, lust, envy, sloth and all forms of immorality. You can always tell a person's character by what they like to watch and do. Sadly today the movie moguls who create the entertainment, have their own sick, sensualised and evil fantasies held up as normal for our present day culture to follow. These influences have scared many minds and hearts and have crippled people’s lives and future. Never forget that God knows what you listen to and watch and what is in your heart and mind and why you desire to watch and listen to it. Music itself can not create evil but it does have the ability to release an evil atmosphere where evil can flourish. Music has the ability to fill the heart with: rebellion, selfishness, hate, lust, and can consciously or un-consciously influence our thinking and produce a Rebellious Heart. I encourage you to do a study on [Phil. 4:8] and then you need to obey the voice of the Holy Spirit. [Acts 15:28. Acts 24:16. Romans 2:15 and Romans 9:1] God will always speak to your spirit when you are unsure.
1. Re-creation of the human race by having children. [Gen 1:27-28] [Psalm 127: 3-5] 2. For deep physical and sexual pleasure between a husband and wife. [Mt.19: 4-6] [1.Cor. 7: 2-5].
The Bible gives us very serious warnings about the MIS-USE of the SACRED GIFT [Prov. 5: 1-8 and 20]. Today sadly, even in the church SEX outside of marriage [God's purpose] has become, cheap, perverse and empty. [You become One Body and One Spirit]. We have to seek the power of the Holy Ghost in order to learn how to keep and control Sexual desires. Never forget they are for God's purpose and never for our own enjoyment and pleasure. Those who have missed God in this area so often end up lonely, guilty, ashamed and often bitter and twisted. SEX can be unique and creative or it can destroy people; 1. By getting emotionally involved ahead of God's timing and will. 2. Getting involved with pre-marital or extra-marital sexual activity.
A few Warnings to single Christians. 1. Avoid all steady relationships until God's timing, or you will spend exclusive time with an individual where you become too familiar with each other....things end up by happening which you never planned. Young people need to make a voluntary vow to God to lay aside dating games and commit themselves to be content for God's will and timing and for Him to show you the right person. 2. Fill your life with activities, keep busy, never forgetting the devil always finds work for idle hands. 3. Avoid all situations and people that could cause temptation to SIN. We all must set up some boundaries and be accountable and maintain a safety Zone. 4. Don't get serious or commence dating until you are: a] Ready for marriage. b] emotionally stable in your sexuality. c] Financially independent. d] Spiritually mature in Jesus. e] Until you know that you know “this is my God given Covenant partner”. f] Dating and courtship is to be a Spiritual experience. 5. Remember Lust can only wait 5 minutes...Love can wait 5 years. Love is never infatuation, its only through prayer and a heart for Jesus that you will have confirmation from God. Marriage is a calling and vocation for your earthly life ordained of God. 6. It can be good to be single. To choose not to get married because of your Calling, vocation or life-style may be God's best for you. To remain single and without sexual involvement is a gift from God. [Luke 18:29] Jesus is always the true source of all love and friendship. Many may choose to remain UN-MARRIED for the sake of the Kingdom of God. [1.Cor7:7-9] 7. All sex sins destroy and hurt you physically, mentally, emotionally and worst of all spiritually. So often irreparable damage [outside of Jesus] is done before a person realizes it. Sexual desires are tremendously powerful and effect everyone physically and emotionally. 8. You are never mature or old enough to date until you understand the purpose of courtship and the damage you can do because of physical involvement. Unless both Parties are totally committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ you are never able to "Glorify God in your bodies and in your spirit which are both God's as you belong to Him, and you are no longer your own." [1.Cor 6:20]. 9. All sexual intimacy and sexual intercourse is designed by GOD for the "Marriage Covenant" ONLY. "One night of stolen pleasure is not worth a lifetime of regret." [Judges 16:4-31].
Next week we will continue on this subject. If you don't experience God's love, it is impossible to love yourself and others. Promiscuity has an awful price: “You are not your own." [1.Cor 6:19].
