Well we are another week closer to that Great event when the BRIDE OF CHRIST leaves the earth and we meet the Lord for a seven year Celebration. What an event that is going to be. Some days I cannot wait for that event and yet so often I think, NO LORD not yet, there are still far to many people who have not yet met you and experienced the love, forgiveness and freedom that You have for them. One thing I do believe is that the time is shorter than we think, we must use every day as an opportunity to share the LOVE and ANOINTING that Jesus has given us. The people are so hurt and only the perfect love of Jesus can satisfy them and give them HOPE for the future and forgiveness and     freedom from their past.

 

During the week Pastor Kevin shared on being “GOD INSIDE minded” and on Wednesday night “What is Prayer, How to pray correctly, and Does God always answer our Prayers?” For those who were unable to make the meeting here are some high-lights that should help you with you Prayer Life. Your day to day victory as a Christian is only as effective as your Prayer life. Prayer is the means by which we communicate with Our Heavenly Father. Praying the WORD OF GOD combined with the FAITH that we received when we met Jesus releases SUPER-NATURAL POWER to meet the promises contained in God's Word. It gets God involved in our needs and circumstances and allows the HOLY SPIRIT to perform God's will of freedom, blessing and victory.

 

The Bible promises us that if we pray correctly, using our Faith and God's word, we are promised He will not only hear us but will also answer our petitions. Never forget that LOVE makes the Faith of God deliver all that it promises. A lesson we must all learn is "How and what is God's will in every situation we find ourselves in". Sadly many prayers are not     answered as they are not within God's will and plan for our life or the situation we are seeking advice and help for. An important point also is when we pray outside of God's will and His word, it allows evil spirits etc to attack the people and situation that is of concern to us. WITCHCRAFT always opens the door to satan and I have seen people’s lives and ministries destroyed. Every prayer prayed that is not in line with God's word and will is not heard by God but the god of this world satan can use those words as an opening to attack people, families, ministries, even the local church. Never forget that LIFE AND DEATH IS IN THE POWER OF OUR WORDS.

 

In the Body of Christ there is a common consensus that God can do whatever He wants......that is not true. God has built into the planet, the universe, our world we live in, SPIRITUAL LAWS that control and govern creation. God cannot do anything that violates the laws which He placed and set in creation. The GREAT NEWS is that God has given you and I ALL AUTHORITYAND POWER AND DOMINION on the earth. In Geneses 1:26 we read: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the foul of the air, over the cattle, over all the earth, and over every thing that creepeth upon the earth". Let’s have a look at the word: DOMINION - what does it mean?  It means control, full reign, ultimate authority and possession. In the EARTH man has control, not GOD. As    awesome as this sounds it is TRUE.  You and I [mankind] have been given dominion over everything that is in the earth. God gave it to mankind. Adam didn't use that dominion and satan took it from him by his disobedience. Eve ate the forbidden fruit and so did her stupid dumb husband and through DISOBEDIENCE satan took dominion in the earth from them. Satan is still the god of this world, he controls the world system but the GOOD NEWS is every man and woman who accepts Jesus as the Christ has spiritually become a son and daughter of God and now has dominion and rights to every thing that God has created.

 

Today, your words and prayers will either release the Super-natural ability and anointing of God or allow satan and his deception and his counterfeits in your situation and life. Life and Death is in the power of our words and tongue. Only the Holy Ghost can tame our tongue. There are many different types of PRAYER:

1. PRAYER OF AGREEMENT [Matthew 18:19] "If any two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven".

2. PRAYER OF FAITH [Mark 11:24] "What thing soever ye desire when you pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." In Hebrews 11:1 we read "NOW, FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen" We must keep our eyes and focus on God's word as when we get over into the sense realm it violates your faith. We read in [1.John 5:14-15] that we can have confidence that our prayers will be answered.

3. PRAYER OF INTERCESSION [Romans 8:26] This prayer must be directed and led by the HOLY SPIRIT. If not it can led to destruction, division, conflict in families, relationships and in the local church.

4. PRAYER OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP. This prayer is between you and the Lord and is always based on how much you love him. You are acknowledging your gratefulness of Him, your appreciation, adoration and thanksgiving for all He has done and given you.

5. PRAYER OF CONSECRATION and DEDICATION. A prayer where you place yourself in a position where God can use you for His Glory. His will be done in your life, not yours. This prayer gives God the license to use you and you acknowledge He has a claim on your earthly life and future.

6. PETITION PRAYER. A request for what you personally require and need from your heavenly Father, always based on God's Word. Be always prepared for a FIGHT - the FIGHT OF FAITH, negative thoughts, and other negative people will try and talk you out of it. Keep the right company stay and around other believing people. God will always perform His word so we must always stay focused [Proverbs 4:20]. Live a life of PRAISE [Psalm 150:6] Speak only words of FAITH [Romans 10.17]. In closing never forget that God cannot lie, His word is True. [Titus 1:2]. We trust this will help and    assist your daily prayer life.
