Well, another awesome week we have had. What a great blessing sisters Abbey and Lisa were as they shared from their heart what God gave them while in Auckland last week. Especially the way they prayed for the sisters and imparted to them what they had received. To God be all the Glory and Honour.

 

Saturday Night 13th October, 6.30pm at 5 Lerwick Tce, Lyall Bay the sisters will be holding their first Dinner-Meeting. This will be an awesome time for our sisters and an exciting move forward for RFC.  More details will be given closer to the event.

 

During the Monday and Wednesday night meetings Pastor Kevin has been teaching on "Loving God more", "Staying       focused in these last days" and "the Devil has no spiritual power to do anything in our lives as He is defeated [spiritually powerless]”. What we all must do is learn to live disciplined lives. Here are a few important scriptural points to help us all on our daily walk;

 

Everyone of us have the ability to Love Jesus more, and we are totally convinced that is how the lost see Jesus in our lives, and then they will immediately desire Him, want to meet with Him and then they can be changed to become like   Jesus. It’s important that all of us study the bible and grow in the intimate knowledge of Jesus in order for us to accomplish His will and embrace all that He says in His Word. Daily, God wants to instruct us and lead us by the Holy Spirit so we can become World over-comers and nothing in this world can defeat or rob us of all that Jesus purchased for us at Calvary. God's will is HIS WORD. So often we don't always do what it says. Some of us have said: 1. Lord, tomorrow I will do that.... 2. Yes, one day when I will get around to it......3. Lord, this is a hard thing you are asking me to do....I can't do that.......... When that occurs in our walk we are not able to hear the Voice of God daily. We must obey and be faithful to all that God has said and is saying to us. Some in the last few weeks have grown cold and it is all because they are disobedient and unfaithful and have stopped growing spiritually. In short, if God doesn't change and neither can the devil, well who has changed ?? We are all called to live a disciplined and obedient life....what a great JOY when we do so. Jesus said: “My yoke is easy and my burden is light”. To serve and obey Jesus is not a grievous thing but a wonderful-joyous         existence. There is a place where the GLORY of GOD is continually poured out and that place is: DOING THE WILL OF GOD. God's will for us is His PREDETERMINED PURPOSE FOR OUR LIFE. It’s very unique, He has not called anyone else to do it. Sadly if we rebel and become un-faithful that part of God's will and plan goes UNDONE.  God will not raise up another man or woman to do what He has called  you to do. Never forget at the JUDGMENT SEAT OF GOD we will have to answer to God for our obedience to fulfil His purpose and plan for our human existence. Sobering words - but true. At the same time there is great peace and joy in doing His will for our lives.

 

God is wanting to change the face of Christianity in our city and nation. Many have lost their spiritual hunger for God and are seeking the pleasures of the world and at the same time many die without the opportunity of meeting Jesus. [Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all and over all] Everything that is not of Him needs to be burnt out by the FIRE and GLORY of GOD. One thing I believe we all want to hear is "Well done thou good and Faithful SERVANT." Never allow yourself to become LUKEWARM, [I know thy works, that thou are neither cold nor hot. I would that thou were cold or hot. So then because thou art LUKEWARM, and neither cold or hot, I will SPUE thee out of my mouth] Revelation 3:15-16. In these times God is not able to use a lukewarm Christian because they are       deceived and have become UN-TEACHABLE. He wants all of us to be FIRE-BRANDS before him. In the Laodicean Church it was PRIDE - their gold, clothing and rebellion.

 

In [1.Timothy 4.1] "The Spirit expressly says, that in the last days some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to     SEDUCING spirits and doctrines of DEVILS." He wants to cause division and strife amongst Christians and when that occurs God is not able to pour out His Blessings and Anointing on us. As God is a spirit and we worship Him in spirit and in truth the enemy tries to get us over in the world of NATURAL LOGIC AND REASONING. This is the world in which   satan now operates in as he has NO SPIRITUAL POWER or ability. Jesus took it off Him. He has now given us ALL POWER and ABILITY in HIS NAME so we can build His Church and do the Greater miracles than JESUS did. So for the rest of 2007 let’s make a decision to live daily in the GLORY World of SUPERNATURAL FAITH and not in the NATURAL REALM of Fear, doubt and un-belief. [all of which is SIN to God]  "....For whatsoever is not of FAITH is SIN." [Romans 14:23]. When we are in doubt and un-belief there is NO VICTORY. They are the root cause of ALL FAILURE. [Now Faith is when? NOW - not tomorrow or in the future, it has to be Now.] FAITH is a substance of the things hoped for even when it cannot be seen. Natural logic and reasoning only comes up with one answer, EXCUSES and EXCUSES, all of which is SIN in God's eyes. Some day will never ever come. Faith is NOW Faith or it isn't Faith at all.

 

We must discipline our FLESH, if we are going to be more than conquerors and live daily in the Victory that is ours. Well, where is the Battlefield? It is our MIND. That is the area where satan tries to operate and enforce his plan of defeat and bondage. [Hebrews 12.1-3] ......”against himself-lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds". It’s in our mind whether we defeat satan or he defeats us. Satan is a defeated foe yet we all must still fight the fight of faith and destroy all his plans and thoughts. If satan has your mind he has the ability to keep you out of all God's blessings and Victory. Satan uses DECEIT, we use the name of JESUS and the FAITH that God gave us which always works if we walk and live in LOVE. God's Faith can never Fail. The devil’s plan is to destroy us Spiritually, then destroy us mentally and finally       destroy us Physically. In closing never forget that GOD LIVES INSIDE YOU [Christ in you the hope of Glory]. We are all divinely appointed AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST. We can and will do Greater things than Jesus did during his earthly life as we are to produce much spiritual fruit [John 15:8]. He is a God that cannot lie, His word and promises are true so stay strong in the Power of His love, believe His word and confess His promises and they will come to pass. He has    promised it. God cannot lie. AMEN
