Sunday 3rd September 2007, Volume 5, Issue 25

What an exciting time to be alive and living daily in the perfect will of God for our life. "Amazing love, how can it be that you, my King, would die for me". According to Hebrews 1:1-2, we read that the King of the universe, created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time, and is upholding, maintaining, guiding, and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt by offering Himself, He sat down at the right hand of the Divine Majesty on high." [2. Corinthians 5:18-19]. According to man, by using the Hubble Space Telescope we have a picture of the Sombrero Galaxy and it has 800 billion suns and is 28 million light years from the earth. Astronomers estimate that there are more than 100 billion other galaxies in our own observable universe, these are dimensions man cannot grasp. Our God created the universe who through His son Jesus Christ, laid His life on the alter of the cross and shed His blood to pay for our REDEMPTION.  [1. Kings 8:27] [Rev. 1:5.]

Friends, there is only ONE GOSPEL even though it is taught and preached in many different ways. The Bible is a book about the Salvation and Redemption of mankind. God had a plan for eternal life before time began [Titus 1:2]. He        announced His plan of salvation to Satan and Adam in Genesis 3:15 and Jesus was born of a virgin approximately 4,000 years later. [Isaiah 7:14.] In [Galatians 4:4] we read that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was actually preached to Abraham according to Galatians 3:6-8 and also in John 8:56. [Amp]. Well we have a COMMISSION to go and tell all people about this King of the Universe who would die for you and me, so that we could live for eternity.

The Bible tells us this about God:  He is omnipresent [Psalm 139: 7-12], He is omniscient. [Psalm 139: 1-6] and [Psalm 147:5], He is omnipotent [Jeremiah 32:19], He is transcendent [Isaiah 6: 1-5 and 55: 8-9.] He is eternal. [Psalm 90: 1-2] [Exodus 3:14]  He is unchangeable [James 1:17], He is perfect and holy. [Leviticus 11:44-45] [1.Peter 1:15-16], He is      triune. [2.Corintians 13-14 and [Matthew 28:19.]

The Bible tells us about His moral attributes include:  He is good. [Psalm 25:8], He is love. [1.John 4:8], He is merciful and gracious. [Psalm 103:8], He is compassionate [Psalm 86:15 and Psalm 111:4], He is patient [Romans 2:4], He is truth [Deut.32:4], He is faithful. [Revelation 7:9] and He is just [Deut.32:4].

God therefore holds the moral order of the universe and is righteous and without sin in the manner in which He treats mankind. God's determination to punish sinners with death proceeds from His justice. We must never forget that God is Love, and Love requires Justice.

We also read in 1.John 4:8 that God is LOVE. Also in John 3:16 it says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  In 1.John 4:19 it also says that we love Him because He first loved us. In 2007 what is our role than? Sending out labourers and going ourselves into all the world. Friends, it’s our responsibility. The RFC vision is to assist and prepare you for ministry. It’s on our hearts to raise you all up and send you out to all the lost and doomed souls in our city, nation and the nations of the world. The    labourers are too few, it’s an urgent hour. RFC wants to supply adequate ministerial training, and understanding of other cultures. Naturally there will be many complexities and challenges one will face in answering the call. We believe the hour has come and is now here, that the Lord will reveal to us our role in sending and supporting those who answer the call. We read in the book of Romans: "......How can they go and preach, unless they are sent? "  Labourers are so desperately needed around the world and its God's will that no man perish, but all come to the saving knowledge of Jesus.

Labourers are so desperately needed around the world and its God's will that no man perish, but all come to the saving knowledge of Jesus. The people in our city and nation are LOST. How can they place their faith in Jesus or His plan for salvation unless someone proclaims the truth to them. Many in RFC are called but few want to pay the price and be sent. [Romans 10:14-15]. There is no doubt that God has laid this responsibility squarely upon the shoulders of the Church. Is this the prayer that is on your heart today ?? "HERE AM I LORD, SEND ME." It’s our responsibility to train up people, and equip them for the work of the ministry and send them out with all the prayer, support and backing they need to  accomplish the task.

Finally we all need to pray and meditate on the following verses [Matthew 9:36-38]   "When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd....then He said to His disciples.....the harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few.......ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." RFC has been given this instruction:  PRAY TO THE LORD OF THE HARVEST TO RAISE UP AND SEND OUT WORKERS INTO HIS HARVEST FIELDS.

Don't forget Monday night at 7.30pm and Wednesday at 7.30pm Meetings at 5. Lerwick Terrace, Lyall Bay. and on      Saturday at mid-day RFC City Outreach departs from 5. Lerwick Terrace, Lyall Bay. It is exciting to get out of our    comfort zone and obey and answer God's call to GO.  Go into all the world and tell the people about the love of God, His son Jesus and His FREE gift of eternal life if they will BELIEVE.

Open up your hearts today and receive all that the Father has for you so we can continue on our journey and build His Glorious Church, and when He returns for His Bride we will see multitudes of brothers and sisters attending the       Marriage Feast and living with the Saints of God for eternity. Thanks for your love, prayers and support. Please pray for Sister Kathleen Kaseman who was admitted into Auckland Hospital on Sunday night, that she can continue with Dr. Jim on their journey back to the USA.
