Well, another week closer to the Marriage Feast....every believer should be excited and looking forward to this Great Event that according to the Bible is very close at hand. We are the BRIDE of CHRIST. Jesus one day soon will come out of Heaven and meet every member of His Glorious Church in the air and take us back with Him to Heaven for a seven year Marriage Feast, what Joy fills my heart to just think about that......meeting all our Brothers and Sisters from every nation and those who joined the Church over 2,000 years ago....what an event that will be. [1. Thessalonians 4: 13-18]. Even when we are going through a difficult time we need to focus on this great event and what an honour it is to be invited to attend this Great Celebration. Sadly for those who remain on the earth there is a 7 year Tribulation period and in Revelations we read about God's judgment etc that will happen at the same time as the Marriage Feast with the Bride of Christ in Heaven. We all must learn to focus on this great event rather than what is happening in the world today. We all know it is getting spiritually dark out there but the Word of God promises us, the Body of Christ, that we will walk and live in greater Light and Power. Are you excited about the future ??? Your eternity and home is in Glory with all the Saints of God and on that great day we leave everything we possessed on the earth. It is without a doubt the time for us all to be ETERNITY minded and not focus on the things of this world.

We read in [Romans 10; 14-15] "....how shall we hear without a Preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of the good things." Messages of hope, peace, joy, health, deliverance and prosperity spread by men anointed and appointed by God. Men and women’s lives who are so representative of the Word of God. We must never forget about those who preach the Good News, they are so invaluable to our spiritual growth and well-being. They carry great gifts in their heart and we all must welcome their gifts as they are needed and truly worthy of HONOUR. As they have all been ordained of God to set the captives FREE and HEAL the broken hearted. Honouring your man of God is vital in the life of every Born-again Christian. We are to honour the Pastor's that God has given us as our spiritual fathers and guides. Daily, we need to acknowledge without their help and support and assistance we would have never been saved from the wrath to come. Thank God for the servants of the Lord who dare to preach and teach the BIBLE and not what folks ears are itching to hear. Yes, we are to honour a shepherd whose obedience to God makes it possible for us to learn of the light of the anointing of God, which is vital in this hour.

The word HONOUR means to respect and esteem, have recognition with love, devotion and awe. Also to submit and yield to their judgment. Without belief in the vision your Pastor has been given from God and trust in the gift and call on his life, it is impossible to show true honour. We all need to see that what we are honouring is not the personality of the man, but the reflection of God that is in Him. If you fail to honour those that God has placed in authority over you......doubt, strife and unbelief will inevitably cause hindrances that will block your blessings from God. 2007 is a very special year for us all and it is essential that we not only know how to honour our man of God [Pastors] but why such honour is REQUIRED. If we fail to honour our pastors as required according to God's Word then it is an act of DISOBEDIENCE. If you have missed God in this area make a quality decision to start today to honour them in thought, word and deed as well as your prayers, finances and service to them. We read in [2. Chronicles 20:20 ] that honouring your man of God is intended more for your benefit than your Pastor’s. When you make a quality decision to obey the WORD concerning your man of God, you set yourself up to receive blessings and favour from the Lord. When you do you will be overtaken with FAVOR.

HOW TO HONOR YOUR MAN OF GOD.

1. WITH PRAYER. [1.Timothy 2:1-2] Your Pastor is the shepherd in authority over the local church. Praying daily God's word over his life [Psalm 103;4] and [Psalm 91: 11-12], that the anointing will continue to be on his life.

2. WITH THE WORDS OF YOUR MOUTH. [Psalm 105:15] "....Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm." You can touch the anointing of God on a man's life without touching him physically, by your words which can bring HARM to him. Listen, it does nothing but cause you serious harm when you speak unkind, untrue or judgmental words about and against your pastors. The word tells us that there is a built in protection for your pastors and any failure to honour them sets you up to be removed from the presence [anointing] of your pastors altogether.

3. WITH FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND MONETARY GIFTS. [1. Timothy 5: 17.] Some in RFC are not aware that their pastors deserve wages, gifts, honorariums and gifts. "....The labourer is worthy of his reward." [1.Timothy 5:18]. When you sow into the life of your man of God you are sowing more seed into your own life. [Luke 6:38] and read [1.Corinthians 9: 7-14.] The bible makes it very clear that your pastors are to prosper. If you fail to do so, you are going against the Word of God and that hinders your blessings in the process.

4. WITH YOUR SERVICE, BELIEF AND TRUST. [Hebrews 13:7.] For your prosperity not to be hindered, you must believe and trust your man of God - even when you hear unfair criticism and untruths spoken about your pastors. In 2007 we all need to have the windows of heaven open and the blessings of God continually flowing so we should immediately stop anyone "Bad Mouthing" our Man of God. "He that follows after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour." [Proverbs 21:21.] If you can't say that about your Pastor, go and find another Church. It’s foolish and counterproductive for you to stay in a church where you don't believe or trust your Pastors.

5. WITH YOUR RESPECT AND LOYALTY. [1. Timothy 5:19.] "Against an elder (Pastor) receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses." So when you are spiritually connected to a Man of God you are to treat him with respect and loyalty. We must never take it upon ourselves to judge God's servants, they are HIS and in [Jeremiah 23:1] we read there; "Woe be unto the Pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture, saith the Lord." Its’ God's business, not the sheep's responsibility.

It’s when you honour and respect your Man of God that you grow spiritually and God will cause you to prosper. The windows of heaven will remain open to you. Don't expect to receive anything from God if you don't obey His voice or Word. "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." [Jeremiah 3:15]. Finally when you give to your Pastors you are giving honour to God for the gift He has given you. So honouring your Man of God is ultimately for your benefit and spiritual growth.

Never forget to honour your Pastor as he is the Spiritual oversight in your walk with God. Sheep need a SHEPHERD. If you don't submit and obey the Pastors then you are living in disobedience and rebellion. AMEN. Have a blessed week and receive from the anointed gift in Pastor. Dion today.
