Sunday 25th March 2007, Volume 5, Issue 9
Well what an awesome week we have had. Firstly I want thank you for taking the time out to thank God for the blessings of being in Ministry over the last 30 years. It was a great dinner. Thanks also to Jono for the DVD, it is an awesome record of the night at the Angus Inn. Also to those who travelled down from Auckland and from other towns in the North Island to be with us all—Pastor Kevin places on record his thanks and appreciation to you all.
At Sunday's meeting we were again all blessed with such a strong presence of God as He continues to change our lives so we can all fulfil the Father's calling and destiny for our lives. What joy again to have Sister Anna from South Africa at the meeting and what a powerful time we had at the Wednesday night meeting. In short, we often forget the freedom etc we have in New Zealand and we as a Fellowship will continue to pray and support her and her husband with the great work they have been called to fulfil. Anna's husband will be joining her very soon and we will have a night with them both. We praise and thank God for the visa's etc to be provided for them to make the visit possible.
We must remind ourselves daily that our Heavenly Father has super-natural provisions for us all. He has so, so much more for each and every one of us. Daily we need to get ourselves in the position to receive all of these miracles and provisions. Thank God for our brothers and sisters who lock in with us and believe God for His best and unite their faith to witness the manifestation of the goodness of the Father in our walk. We read in [Mark 2:1-5] where a man had four friends who wanted God's best for him, they all wanted his life to be better, and went to great lengths to accomplish that and see his miracle come to pass. Sadly, often through our own selfishness and insensitivity we can hinder our brother's and sister's from receiving all that God has for them. These four friends went to great lengths to get their friend with the palsy, on his bed, in front of Jesus, even to the point of removing the roof of the building. Interesting to note that when Jesus saw THEIR FAITH he said unto the sick man, "thy sins be forgiven thee."
So much of the time, as individuals, we have a tendency to not really go after the things that God has for us when we need them daily. We all in 2007 must go after everything that God has for us and get into the POSITION where we can receive everything we need. The friends of the man with the palsy had such a love for him that they were all willing to go to great lengths to get him healed by Jesus - they could not be stopped. They operated as a team, and yes, they were mature and skilled because of the effort and lengths they went to. They first tried the door, but were not able to get inside, so they paid the price that was needed, they climbed up on the roof, made a gap and then lowered their friend down to Jesus. They took a great risk but were totally committed and determined that their friend received all the benefits and blessings that Jesus was able to provide for him. We read in [Proverbs 18;24] “We have a friend that STICKETH CLOSER THAN A BROTHER". We must never forget that Jesus paid the price and was determined to make it all the way to gain back all that satan had stolen.....the earth and its inhabitants. Jesus has raised you and I up to sit in heavenly places, just as those four men raised up their friend. Jesus gave us all a new position to RULE AND REIGN WITH HIM. Like the four men it is going to take diligence and determination to receive all the blessings that God has for us. In 2007 it is going to take a TEAM EFFORT, where we all operate and develop our skills and never allow any entanglements to stop us winning and receiving all that the Father has for us through JESUS.
The reason a lot of people have never received anything from God is that they never became part of the FAMILY or the CHRISTIAN TEAM. When Jesus is Lord of your Life you become part of the Family of God and as such you become very sensitive to other member's of the family, and in our case part of the RFC family and team. Unity and love in the Family of God enables us all to receive rewards and all that the Father has for us. In the past there were great blessings for us all because of the unity and love of being submitted to God, the leadership and each other. We read in [Acts 10:34] "That God is not a respecter of persons." So in 2007 we all must come to a place of unity and love as a fellowship, only then can we receive His presence, and daily be in a place to RECEIVE ALL THAT THE FATHER HAS FOR US. Remember the story at the POOL OF BETHSEDA. A few in RFC never get in the position to receive from God as they are so busy doing their own thing and planning what they want to do in the future, often causing heartache and pain to other family members. It takes time to develop skills and maturity in order to place the fellowship and your brother and sister's before yourself. We must take the time now, there is a PRICE TO PAY. Total commitment if your want all that God has for you. It is sad but even this year we have seen brothers and sisters who didn't have the sense enough to know they were being used of the devil. But that will not stop RFC from fulfilling our Heavenly vision. WHY? Because Pastors Dion and Kevin and the majority are determined to accomplish the goal that God has put before us.
In closing don't just go part of the way, go all the way. We must trust God and be determined to do what God has called us to do. We all need to be every day where God wants us to be and say what He wants us to say. We must never have the FEAR OF MAN and allow it to stop or hinder us. The bible says in [James 4:17] "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is SIN." Never forget that God wants to bless us, and that is His desire and heart. We must all do what is necessary to keep going long enough to get into the position to receive all His blessings and Miracles. Never get bound up in the affairs of life, they stop you from receiving from God. In [John 8:36] "If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." So today during the meeting, know that the Spirit of God has come to set you free so you can get into the position to receive all the miracles that God has for you and wants to give you. He wants to use every one of you to build His church and save the lost and dying of our nation and world. AMEN
